Our goal is to create a platform for open-source, community-driven greenhouse and garden automation software and hardware, making growing more accessible and convenient for everyone.

What is OpenGHC?

OpenGHC is a global collaboration of researchers, horticulturists, hobby gardeners, nerds, and eco-freaks working to advance open-source, community-driven automation solutions for greenhouse and gardens. We believe that open data, open designs and diagrams, and community collaboration are essential for achieving these goals. Currently, software and hardware designs are being based on Espressif's ESP32 family of extremely low cost, dual-core, WiFi-Enabled IOT microcontrollers.

What is this wiki?
